Do you want to help tackle climate change in your community and find out how to live a more sustainable life?

Could you inspire and lead people in your neighbourhood to reduce the city's carbon footprint and make climate change action part of our everyday lives?

It could be anything from setting up a car club in your neighbourhood to generating your own energy. Maybe you have knowledge of how to grow your own vegetables and want to train people to do the same.

Funding is available for community projects that make a difference.

Come to our free event on Monday 29th June at Manchester Town Hall from 4pm to about 7.30pm, you can attend the whole evening or drop in later:

4 -5pm       Refreshments and networking, browsing the information stalls

5 -7.30pm   Workshops (you will be asked to sign up on registration)

There will be loads of information on climate change and how your community can get involved as well as workshops on carbon footprinting, information stalls and applying for funding.

A limited number of pre-bookable creche places for children aged 6 months to 11 years are available for this event. If you would like to book a place please let us know by 10am on Friday 26 June.
